To comply with our mission of total transparency, Dean & Waters never accept any commissions, discounts or fees without these being passed on to Owners in full. Our management fee is all-inclusive, unless a service outside the contracted scope is required, in which case this will be quoted for and agreed in writing before commencement.

Technical Management

We know that successful technical management is paramount to guarantee the maintenance and efficiency of a yacht to the highest standards.

At Dean & Waters the dedicated team ensures the best supervision is provided, together with the supply of top-level technical advice and full support for occasions such as routine surveys, dry docking and repairs to keep the yacht in first-class condition.

Compliance Management

At Dean & Waters our priority is full observance of all aspects of safety on board a yacht. By creating an individually structured system to monitor often complex compliance for operational rules and regulations, we work to streamline the maintenance and implementation of existing and new regulations as required.

We will ensure flag state, ISM/ISPS codes and that all certification is upheld to the highest standards, which are critical to the safe operation of the yacht.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Utilising state-of-the-art, high-quality financial management software, this enables real time accounting affording huge time saving for both captain and crew, together with regular and accurate reporting to an owner.

At Dean & Waters our service will commence with essential budget planning, through to making all financial transactions on behalf of the yacht. We can certify that all our yacht management accounts are fully ring-fenced and owners’ funds entirely protected.

Crew Management & Administration

The management of crew is an aspect of superyachting that has been modernised and extensively improved over the last few years. From crew welfare, development and training to procurement, we cover all angles. For crew administration we work predominantly with our preferred partner Oceanskies, where we have a white labelled offering delivering preferential rates.

The use of the latest technology and CrewMate® App make this a very friendly yet efficient platform for captain, crew, managers and owners.

OTHER SERVICES

Insurance

If requested by the Owner we will negotiate and place all insurances covering the yacht, crew, employers’ liability and medical expenses with a leading, first-class marine underwriter. Dean & Waters benefits from fleet discounts and owners can be assured that any discount and/or commissions attributed will be to their benefit and they pay a net premium.

Consultancy
& Corporate Services

With so many years’ experience and knowledge at our fingertips we are available to all our Owners and Clients to offer our services for any aspect of yachting. Consultancy fees are agreed in advance on a case-by-case basis.
